You can do the pilot mission as part of either one of these missions, and it will be counted as completed towards both of these missions. You do not have to repeat the pilot mission.

Remember that the Select button is a thing also people. If you are too zoomed in, the angles may not look the same. head placement, camera angle, Hold Left stick + Aim weapon a split second later.
